Editorial Policy
We separate observed documentation from inference, compare ratings only at visible conditions and never claim hands-on testing unless it occurred.
Our research standard
We compare exact product records, published specifications and application requirements. A headline pint rating is not presented as meaningful unless its temperature and relative-humidity condition are visible. Marketplace coverage claims are treated as screening information rather than load calculations.
Experience and evidence
We do not claim hands-on testing unless it actually occurred and can be described. When a statement comes from a listing or manufacturer document, it is treated as a claim that the reader should verify for the selected model. Analysis and inference are identified through cautious language rather than presented as observed fact.
Corrections and updates
Listings, manuals and product variations change. We review corrections that identify the exact page, model and supporting source. Substantive corrections are made to the relevant page; dates are not changed merely to make unchanged content appear new.
Commercial intent
Some pages contain affiliate links, but product availability does not determine our technical conclusions. A guide should still be useful when a reader buys nothing: it must clarify the decision, disclose uncertainty and explain which facts need verification for the particular installation or drying project.
